RV Roof Hatches

The big question that needs answering when looking for a roof hatch is whether or not your roof
is curved or flat. Here are pictures of 3 different types of roof hatch series.

The way to figure out if you need a roof hatch for a flat or curved roof is the following:

Take a straight edge and put it on the center of the roof. Follow the edge till you come to the first gap between the roof and the straight edge.
(should be about the size of the roof hatch.)

Now, measure that gap. If it is 1/4" then you need an LK2115. If the gap is 3/4", then you will need an LK6867.

This hatch would be for an RV
with a curved roof.

5-Position Ventilation

Outside Release Handle

Alarm Switch

This hatch would be for an
RV with a flat roof.

It has the following:

Emergency Exit

5-Position Ventilation

Outside Release Handle

Alarm Switch

Part No. LK2115

This hatch fits nearly flush with an RV roof;
it is for low profile garages.

It has the following:

Emergency Exit

5-Position Ventilation

Outside Release Handle

Static Air Vent

Part No. JK1859

The release hinge is no longer availabe as a separate item, only the cover is sold separately. But there is a conversion kit (pictured below) that should get you out of trouble. If the kit doesn't work, then you must install a new roof hatch assembly.
